Research Interests and Background

My research lies at the intersection of power electronics, power systems, and controls. My work has an emphasis on control of power electronics, inverters, microgrids, and renewable energy systems. For further details, please refer to my list of publications.

Opportunities and Openings

I am currently looking for Ph.D students and postdoctoral research candidates. Below is a brief description of the openings in my group:

  • Ph.D. Students: Students with interests in controls, power electronics, and/or power systems are encouraged to apply for admission in the Fall 2018 semester. Interested candidates should also email me their resume along with a brief description of their background and interests.

  • Postdoctoral Researcher: The ideal candidate has expertise in power electronics with a track record in hardware design, digital control, and experimentation. The nominal start date for this position is Summer 2018. Interested individuals should email me their CV, one representative publication, and a list of three references (with e-mail addresses and phone numbers).
